1. Information We Collect
FocusHub stores your preferences and settings locally in your browser using localStorage. This includes theme selection, sound preferences, timer presets, and Pomodoro statistics. This data never leaves your device unless you create an account and enable cloud sync.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional display name to identify your account. If you sign in, your timer session history and preferences are synced to our secure database (hosted on Supabase).
2. Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how people use FocusHub and improve the service. This includes:
- Page views (path, referrer, device type)
- Timer completion events (timer type, duration)
- Session data (anonymous session ID, no personal identifiers)
Analytics data is stored in our Supabase database and is not shared with third parties. No cookies are used for analytics.
3. Third-Party Services
FocusHub uses Google Fonts for typography. When you load the app, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. We do not control this data collection.
The app is hosted on a third-party platform (Cloudflare Pages) that may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for operational and security purposes.
4. Third-Party Advertising
We may display advertisements from third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity. This data collection is governed by the third party's privacy policy, not ours.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
5. Your Rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser's settings. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
